Scope of Study: Interior and Exterior Design, Finishing, and Execution.

This project stands out as an advanced medical space specifically designed to reflect a delicate balance between simplicity, sophistication, and high functionality. 

The scope of work encompassed developing interior and exterior fit-out designs within a contemporary style that aligns perfectly with the medical identity. 

The primary focus was on creating an organized workflow environment that enhances operational efficiency, while ensuring maximum comfort and seamless circulation for visitors throughout all stages of operations.

The design relies on engineering solutions that combine practicality with aesthetics; durable, adjustable wooden shelving systems were implemented to display healthcare products with high spatial flexibility. Additionally, the study focused on enhancing visual clarity by integrating natural daylight with bright, directed white artificial lighting. 

To guarantee medical safety standards, glass and aluminum cladding and finishing materials were meticulously selected for their high bacterial resistance and ease of cleaning and sterilization, thereby completing the precision and professionalism of the project study.

Project Phases and the Executive Methodology:

Phase 1: As-Built Surveying & Requirements Analysis

The process initiates with consultative sessions to understand the pharmacy’s operational needs. This is followed by a field site visit in Damascus to conduct an accurate engineering as-built survey, analyze the available space, and precisely draft the existing-condition layouts.

Phase 2: Design & Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

This phase involves transitioning to the interior and exterior architectural design, developing shop drawings (executive plans), and defining the pharmacy’s visual identity. Concurrently, the preliminary project cost is accurately evaluated by preparing detailed Bills of Quantities and Specifications (BOQ) for the specialized antibacterial fit-out materials prior to actual mobilization.

Phase 3: Execution in accordance with Shop Drawings

This stage marks the launch of site-wide interior and exterior fit-out works. It begins with installing exterior facades utilizing advanced aluminum profiles and impact-resistant double-glazed glass. Interior outfitting follows, utilizing high-density treated wood panels (HDF or moisture-resistant melamine) for shelving and storage units to ensure durability.

This phase also includes applying specialized antibacterial, easily sterilizable paint coatings to all surfaces and walls. This is carried out alongside continuous on-site supervision to ensure construction progresses in strict compliance with the engineering plans, committed schedule, and allocated budget.
