Fire Station

A BIM-based solution for four Kuwaiti fire stations: precise and safe

Location: Kuwait
Scope: Architecture - Structural - Electromechanical studies based on BIM

By using the latest building information and modeling technologies, BIM has completed integrated studies for four fire stations in the State of Kuwait. The architectural study of the station was conducted to meet the requirements of Kuwaiti Civil Defense, with the provision of large spaces for the movement of fire trucks and open areas for periodic equipment testing, thus ensuring efficient operation and rapid response to emergency.
Structural solutions were designed by utilizing smart steel structures that support large spans without the need for intermediate columns, as well as precise 3D modeling for analyzing structural loads and structural behavior. In the electromechanical study, a comprehensive evaluation of firefighting, electrical, ventilation, and drainage systems was conducted, as well as an assessment of the building's environmental impact and an analysis of the locations of supply pipes and sewage networks.
